Tips of the Week
 

 

 Trainer Tip

G - Gain the trust of your team.  Learn the sport that you are coaching.  Get help if you need it.

O - Offer additional time/training to the players.  Teach them everything you know.

A - Assist the parents in becoming GOAL leaders.  Share your expectations and lead your team to victory.

L - Lead your team with compassion.  Always be respectful - even if they mess up.  They are still learning!

S - Say what you mean - do what you say.  Teach the parents to be better sideline spectators.

Player Tip
  

Goals... Goals... Goals....

And not the kind you make with a soccer ball!

Start with thinking about what is important to you right now.  Are you wanting a new bike , video game or some cool new jeans?  Are you trying to save money for something more special?  Either way, the end result can not be obtained without setting a few goals first.  Start small - set obtainable goals to get you excited.  After you have met your first set of goals... set harder ones.  The reward will be life changing!  Get started now!


 ALWAYS GO THROUGH LIFE SETTING AND OBTAINING GOALS!

Soccer Camp 2013
All ages
Orientation Day scheduled for the Friday prior to soccer camp
Meet your Camp Coach, Apprentices and get your sign-up goodie bags
Apprentice slots are available.  Assist Coach Kim and attend for free. Requirements:
~Must be 18 or older
~Enjoy learning and teaching
~Prior soccer experience is not necessary
~Must be able to lift 15-20 pounds.

Picture Day
All players (per parental consent) can have their photograph taken with Coach Kim for the website.  Small bio will be included with each player, including any achievements or awards presented by SoccerKim.com.

Coach Kim Cares
SoccerKim.com gives back to the community in several ways.  
~Staples School Supply Donations
~PetSmart - all donations support local animal shelters and adoption agencies
~Publix Grocery Store - School Supply Donations
~Coach Kim will sponsor a child in 2012 for lessons and Soccer Camp 2012 that could not otherwise afford to pay for additional training.  Selection process will include an application from the parents and feedback from the team coaches.
